I recently went to London with some friends for some fabulous days of shopping, eating, sight seeing and a whole lot of photographing (more about it soon). Every time I travel to a different country, I try to buy a magazine about interior design as a souvenir. Mainly because I LOVE LOVE LOVE these magazines and there are just not enough of them in Germany. While looking through the magazine I found a beautiful leather and glass vase by Cox&Cox and thought about doing it myself. And here it is: A super cute and simple 30 min diy project for you to try.
This is what you need:
You will also need: scissors, pencil, ruler and a knife.
Instructions for the leather and glass vase:
Draw two equally wide stripes (rectangles) to the back of the leather. The strip for the large vase has to be longer than the one for the small vase. You can adjust it at the end when it´s wrapped and secured around the vase. Wrap the longer stripe around the large vase and mark the spots for the brads. Place both ends of the strip together and prick the marked spots with a knife carefully. Form a loop and attach the brads by putting them through both openings. Drag the loop carefully over the vase. Same steps for the small vase.
I´m in love with the result: Clean and modern design, Scandinavian style! The light pink would look beautiful with some fresh green leaves or some dry dark branches.
